Three professors appointed to National Bureau of Economic Research
Volker Nocke, professor of economics at UCLA and assistant professors of economics Michela Giorcelli and Katherine Meckel have been appointed members of the National Bureau of Economic Research.
The bureau is a private, non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to conducting economic research and to disseminating research findings among academics, public policy makers and business professionals.
Nocke is a research associate in the “Industrial Organization” group of the bureau. Giorcelli is a faculty research fellow in the “Development of American Economy” group and Meckel is a faculty research fellow in the “Public Economics” and “The Economics of Children.”
