Hope — Part of “Transformation: Lectures, Conversations and Storytelling about Healing and Social Action”

September 27, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Part of the series Transformation: Lectures, Conversations, and Stories About Healing and Social Action, sponsored by Repair.
Learn more about the series.
How do survivors of torture, abuse, or devastation experience hope? What does it mean to claim a relationship to hope as a feminist, an activist, or a person whose community is being targeted for destruction? Our speaker and storytellers will begin a conversation about hope and hopelessness, grounded in our histories, commitment to social change, and awareness of the deep challenges we collectively face.
Stories by: Kandee Rachelle Lewis, Anam Ella Durrani, and Shawna Charles
Introduction by: Rachel Lee, CSW Director
Co-sponsors:
